The Components, Factors and the Ways to Deal with Negligence in Islam from a Psychological Perspective

Abstract
Negligence has been considered one of the moral vices. Accordingly, while many people are oblivious (10: 92), the Almighty Allah has asked people to do not be among the heedless (7: 205). Given the difference between the perspective of Islam and psychology in the concept of negligence, determining its features based on Islamic and psychological sources will reveal other aspects of negligence. This paper seeks to determine the components, factors and the ways to deal with negligence based on Islamic sources. using an analysis method, and focusing on the Holy Qur’an and the collections of Tradition as well as the other Islamic texts, this paper analyzes the attributes and components of neglect. The findings show that, there are seven theoretical components and six ways to deal with neglect.
