With regard to the other signs of the true Shi'ites, Imam Ali (pbuh) says: "«وَ‌طَلَباً فِي‏ حَلَالٍ‏ وَنَشَاطاً فِي هُديً وَتَحَرُّجاً عَنْ طَمَع»‏ " (they look for halal sustenance, and are hardworking and diligent in guiding people, and are far from greed and avarice). In addition to servitude and worship, the Shiites pursue their social duties and look for halal sustenance in order to survive. However, they are never attached to the world or greedy of the temporal goods. They do not violate the rights of others or misappropriate Bayt al-Mal. Their hard work and effort paves the way for their spiritual development. این مقال به بررسی صفات و نشانه های پرهیزگاران و شیعیان واقعی در خطبة نورانی امیرمؤمنان† می پردازد، اما چون نقل این نشانه ها در روایت نوف بکالی در بحار الانوار مغشوش و خالی از تصحیف و اشتباه نیست، ادامة بحث را در نهج البلاغه و در خطبة همام پی می گیریم. حضرت دربارة سایر نشانه های شیعیان راستین می فرمایند: «وَ طَلَباً فِی‏ حَلَالٍ‏ وَنَشَاطاً فِی هُدیً وَتَحَرُّجاً عَنْ طَمَع»‏ (آنان جست وجوگر مال حلال اند، و در راه هدایت مردم پر تحرک و پرتلاش، و از آز و طمع به دورند). شیعیان افزون بر بندگی و عبادت به وظایف اجتماعی خویش نیز می پردازند و برای ادامة حیات خویش در پی کسب روزی حلال هستند، اما هرگز دلبسته به دنیا و حریص به مال دنیا نیستند. به حقوق دیگران تجاوز نمی کنند و بیت المال را پایمال نمی کنند. این کار و تلاش بسترساز تکامل آنان است. https://marifat.nashriyat.ir/sites/marifat.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/1_35.pdf
