This document has great capacities; it can be a connecting factor used for resolving the differences among the Ummah of Islam and provide the ground for the unity of Muslims. But unfortunately, due to ignorance and inattention, this great capacity has not been used properly. The main question is: what factors have led to the Islamic nation’s ignorance of this capacity? It seems that one factor concerns the doubts raised in this regard. The necessity of providing a suitable ground for making maximum use of this capacity led the authors to seek answers for some of those doubts in the present research. The research methodology is descriptive-analytical, and in order to gain better acceptance, it is documented by authoritative sources. The findings of the research indicate that the raised doubts have fundamental weaknesses, and the doubts can be resolved with a little reflection and fair consideration. در طول تاریخ اسلام، حدیث «ثقلین» به عنوان سندی پرافتخار بر صفحه‌ی زرین حقیقت شیعی درخشیده و در حوزه های گوناگون کلامی، فقهی، حدیثی و تاریخی محل استناد شیعیان بوده است. این سند از چنان ظرفیتی برخوردار است که می تواند عامل وصل بوده و رفع اختلافات بین امت اسلام را موجب گردد و زمینه‌ی انسجام مسلمانان را فراهم سازد، ولی متأسفانه به سبب جهالت و بی مهری ها، از این ظرفیت عظیم درست استفاده نشده است. سؤال اصلی این است که چه عواملی موجب دور ماندن امت اسلام از این ظرفیت گردیده است؟ به نظر می رسد شبهه افکنی ها یکی از عوامل مزبور است. ضرورت فراهم آمدن بستر مناسب برای استفاده هرچه بیشتر از این ظرفیت، نگارنده را واداشت تا در تحقیق حاضر به دنبال پاسخ به برخی از آن شبهات برآید.  روش تحقیق توصیفی ـ تحلیلی و مستند به منابع معتبر عامه است تا زمینه‌ی پذیرش بهتر مطالب را فراهم سازد. یافته های تحقیق نشان دهنده‌ی ضعف بنیادین شبهات واردشده بوده و با اندکی تأمل و ملاحظه‌ی منصفانه، شبهات مزبور قابل برطرف شدن است. https://marifat.nashriyat.ir/sites/marifat.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/2_34.pdf
