abstract = {knowing and defining man and discussing the criterion for his humanity is rooted in the history of human knowledge, and nearly all thinkers have encountered it at some point in their life. Hence, addressing the
issue of "the main factor of man’s differentiation from other beings, and the main criterion for humanity" seems essential. Using library sources and analytical method, this research attempts to study this subject by searching in religious texts. Explaining what distinguishes man from other beings, religious texts point to factors such as being grateful to God, modesty, using reason, adherence to divine orders and innate nature. Each of these issues represents an area of human existence. A comprehensive title for all these factors can be called "innate nature".

abstract_fa ={شناخت و معرفی انسان و بحث از معیار انسان شدن او، ریشه در تاریخ معرفت بشر دارد و کمتر صاحب اندیشه ای است که در برهه هایی از زندگی خویش با آن مواجه نشده باشد. ازاین رو، پاسخ به پرسش «عامل اصلی تفکیک کننده‌ی انسان از دیگر موجودات، و معیار اصلی انسان بودن چیست؟» ضروری و مهم به نظر می رسد. این تحقیق با استفاده از منابع کتابخانه ای و روش تحلیلی، سعی دارد پاسخ پرسش مزبور را با جست وجو و از متون دینی به دست آورد.  
متون دینی به منظور تبیین فصل جداکننده‌ی انسان از دیگر موجودات، به عواملی همچون اهل حمد و سپاس الهی بودن، حیا، بهره مندی از عقل، پایبندی به دستورات الهی و فطرت اشاره کرده اند. هریک از این عناوین ساحتی از وجود انسان را معرفی می کند. عنوان جامع بین این عوامل را می توان «فطرت» دانست.},
