The holy Qur'an also has paid attention to mental processes in many cases with different expressions. The question that arises is that, what are the applications of the concept of critical thinking and its elements (or components) in the Qur'anic literature. Using an analytical method and referring to Quranic verses this research seeks to study the position of the critical thinking and its coordination with Quranic concepts. There is not a certain concept that contains the whole elements of critical thinking, but the components of critical thinking are mentioned separately in the holy Qur'an. The root words "fiq" jurisprudence, "nabata" deriving, "hajaja" argument and "nadar" opinion related to the component of inference and derivation of critical thinking, and the root words "hukm" verdict and "qada" judgment have a close semantic coordination with the component of the evaluation, judgment, and comparison of critical thinking. تفکر انتقادی، از مفاهیم علمی جدیدی است که در قرن اخیر مورد توجه قرار گرفته است. قرآن نیز به فرایندهای ذهنی با عبارات مختلفی پرداخته و به آنها توجه داشته است. سؤالی که در این موضوع وجود دارد، این است که کاربرد مفهوم تفکر انتقادی و عناصر (یا مؤلفه های) آن در ادبیات قرآنی چگونه است. پژوهش حاضر این هدف را دنبال می کند که تفکر انتقادی چه جایگاهی را در ادبیات قرآنی به خود اختصاص داده است. این پژوهش با روش تحلیل محتوا، با بررسی آیات قرآن در مورد فرایندهای ذهنی، تناسب تفکر انتقادی با مفاهیم قرآنی را بررسی کرده است. در قرآن، مفهومی که دقیقاً همه‌ی عناصر تفکر انتقادی را دربرداشته باشد، وجود ندارد، اما مؤلفه های تفکر انتقادی به صورت جداگانه در قرآن مطرح شده اند. ریشه های لغوی «فقه»، «نبط»، «حجج» و «نظر» با مولفه‌ی استنتاج و استنباط تفکر انتقادی در ارتباط اند و ریشه های لغوی «حکم» و «قضی»، تناسب معنایی نزدیکی با مولفه‌ی ارزیابی، قضاوت و سنجش تفکر انتقادی دارند. https://marifat.nashriyat.ir/sites/marifat.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/4_39.pdf
