These two kinds of spirituality similarly emphasize how man deals with immutable things in the world. From the perspective of these two kinds of spirituality, all aspects of man must be in the same direction, and they all should be in accord with each other. The basis for accepting a religion is studying it rationally. But the difference between these two is that modern spirituality considers inner satisfaction and tranquility as the ultimate goal of all religions, and explains inner satisfaction regardless of the centrality of God. But religious spirituality regards that inner satisfaction is possible only in the light of believing in God and seeking Him, and provides some guidelines to achieve it. In this spirituality, God's satisfaction is the ultimate goal. In modern spirituality, suffering has no justification, and in religious spirituality, it is the means to perfection. این پژوهش به بررسی تطبیقی رضایت باطن در معنویت مدرن و معنویت دینی، پرداخته و نقاط اشتراک و افتراق آن دو را، با روش تحلیلی ـ توصیفی و با استناد به آیات و روایات مورد بحث و بررسی قرار می دهد. این دو معنویت، بر چگونگی برخورد انسان با امور تغییرناپذیر در دنیا، به طور یکسان تأکید دارند. از نگاه این دو معنویت، تمام ساحت های انسان، باید در یک مسیر حرکت کرده، همه بر یکدیگر منطبق باشد. اساس پذیرش یک دین، بررسی عقلانی آن است. اما تفاوت این دو در این است که، معنویت مدرن، رضایت باطن و آرامش را مقصود و هدف نهایی همه‌ی ادیان می داند. رضایت باطن را بدون توجه به محوریت خداوند تبیین می کند. اما معنویت دینی، رضایت باطن را در پرتو خدا باوری و خداخواهی میسر می داند و سازوکارهایی نیز ارائه می دهد. در این معنویت، رضایت خداوند، هدف نهایی است. رنج در معنویت مدرن، غیرموجه و در معنویت دینی، وسیله‌ی تکامل است. https://marifat.nashriyat.ir/sites/marifat.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/8_36.pdf
