This view relies on theoretical foundations and principles that deserve to be discovered and explained on the basis of religious doctrines. Using descriptive-exploratory method, this paper seeks to study the principles of defense thought in Islam based on the Quranic teachings. Negation of domination, adhering to the duties, independence and self-sufficiency, maintaining unity and solidarity and peaceful coexistence are among the main important foundations of defense thought in Islam, and obeying the commander, recognition of the enemy, cutting off the roots of corruption, defense preparation and cross-border defense are among the main important principles of defense thought in Islam. قرآن کریم به عنوان اصلی ترین منبع دین اسلام، خاستگاه اندیشه های بسیاری است که یکی از مهم ترین آنها مسئله‌ی «دفاع و امنیت» است. این مسئله، بر مبانی و اصولی استوار است که شایسته است بر پایه‌ی مستندات قرآنی کشف و تبیین گردد. هدف از این پژوهش، که به شیوه‌ی توصیفی ـ اکتشافی سامان یافته، تبیین اصول و مبانی اندیشه‌ی دفاعی اسلام است که بر پایه‌ی آموزه های قرآن صورت می پذیرد. نفی سلطه، تکلیف گرایی، استقلال و خودکفایی، حفظ وحدت و انسجام و همزیستی مسالمت آمیز از مهم ترین مبانی اندیشه‌ی دفاعی اسلام است، و اطاعت از فرمان دهی، دشمن شناسی، قطع ریشه های فساد، آمادگی دفاعی و دفاع فرامرزی از مهم ترین اصول اندیشه‌ی دفاعی اسلام به شمار می آید. https://marifat.nashriyat.ir/sites/marifat.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/5_44.pdf
