The research findings show that there are some formal and content defects. In the formal section, the book requires a serious review in the editing of distances, typographical errors and ambiguous sentences. In the content section, the most important point that, it did not choose an appropriate research method by selecting a particular historical analysis approach. Adopting a quantitative research method for an issue such as cultural origins, which is a qualitative topic, has led the author to irrational climbing and generalization. In addition, choosing a particular historical approach inspired by the theory of "Iranian tyranny" and the theory of "deterioration of political thought" has led the author to "self-Orientalism" and neglecting the Iranian ethical virtues. Considering the important phenomenon of the Islamic Revolution and the way in which modernity has entered and faced Iran is one of the author's suggestions to study the Iranians' ethos with a comprehensive approach. The critical study of this book more and more reveals the necessity of the emancipation of scholars from Orientalist discourse and attention to the Iranian virtues in the context of "native scientific discourse." در نوشتار حاضر به مدد شیوه تحلیلی ـ اسنادی، به نقد کتاب «ریشه های فرهنگی ارتباط در ایران» پرداخته ایم. نتایج تحقیق آشکارکننده‌ی برخی نقایص صوری و محتوایی است. در بخش صوری، کتاب به بازنگری جدی در ویرایش فاصله ها، اشتباهات تایپی و جملات نامفهوم نیازمند است. در بخش محتوایی، مهم ترین نکته، عدم انتخاب روش تحقیق مناسب و گزینش رویکرد تحلیلی خاصِ تاریخی است. گزینش روش تحقیق کمّی برای مسئله ای همچون ریشه های فرهنگی که ماهیتاً کیفی است، مؤلف را به کلی نگری و تعمیم دهی غیرمنطقی سوق داده است. به علاوه، انتخاب یک رویکرد خاص تاریخی ملهم از نظریه‌ی «استبداد ایرانی» و نظریه‌ی «زوال اندیشه سیاسی» مؤلف را مبتلا به «خودشرق شناسی» و غفلت از فضایل اخلاقی ایرانیان کرده است. توجه به پدیده‌ی مهم انقلاب اسلامی و نحوه ورود و مواجهه‌ی مدرنیته به ایران، جزو پیشنهادهای نگارنده است تا با نگاهی جامع به تفسیر خلقیات ایرانیان پرداخته شود. مطالعه‌ی انتقادی این کتاب ضرورت رهایی محققان از گفتمان شرق شناسانه و توجه به خلقیات ایرانیان در بستر «گفتمان علم بومی» را بیش از پیش آشکار می کند. https://marifat.nashriyat.ir/sites/marifat.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/7_47.pdf
