abstract = {The philosophy of death and its resulting anxiety is one of the riddles of human life, and it raised ongoing debates among the thinkers. Meanwhile, Avicenna and Plotinus are among the philosophers who have presented different ideas in this regard, but they believe that the human's view of the philosophy of creation and the meaning of life directly impacts his view of death, and without realizing the philosophy of life, one cannot understand the truth of death. Hence, there is a profound connection between the meaning of life and death. Using a descriptive-analytical method and referring the authentic sources, this paper seeks to study the Avicenna and Plotinus's views on death and life. The findings show that, according to these two thinkers, without recognizing the relationship between man and the universe, one cannot present a proper meaning of life and death, and given their differences in psychological foundations, through a common goal i.e. reaching God one can get a different understanding of life and death. },

abstract_fa ={فلسفة مرگ و اضطراب ناشی از آن، یکی از معماهای حیات بشری و از جمله مسائلی است که گفت وگوهای بسیاری میان متفکران مختلف برانگیخته است. در این میان ابن سینا و فلوطین از جمله فیلسوفانی هستند که نظریات متفاوتی در این باره ارائه داده اند و معتقدند نوع نگاه آدمی به  فلسفة آفرینش و معنای زندگی، ارتباط مستقیمی با برداشتِ وی از مرگ دارد و بدون دستیابی به  فلسفة حیات نمی توان درک درستی از مرگ داشت؛ ازهمین رو، میان معنای زندگی و مرگ ارتباط عمیقی وجود دارد. در این نوشتار با روش توصیفی ـ تحلیلی و با استناد به  منابع معتبر، سعی  شده دیدگاه ابن سینا و فلوطین درباره مرگ و زندگی بررسی شود. نتایج پژوهش نشان می دهد که به باور این دو متفکر، بدون تفسیر انسان و هستی نمی توان معنای درستی برای مرگ یافت و با توجه به  تفاوت مبانیِ نفس شناسی از دیدگاه آنها، به دنبال یک هدف مشترک، که همان رسیدن به  خداست، می توان درک متفاوتی از زندگی و مرگ داشت.},
