Revolutionary movements and the subject of resistance, in the mentioned religions, are considered to be very important. The contexts of extremism and terrorism in Islamic religious texts and Christian theology are also important topics of interest to researchers and scholars of this field. Current research, while examining the revolutionary movement in Islam and Christianity, tries to show a reading of the foundations of extremism and terrorism in the history of Islam and Christian theology. This descriptive-analytic study seeks to answer the fundamental question: what was the nature of the revolutionary movements in the history of Islam and Christianity? And what has been the process of extremism and terrorism in Islam and Christian theology? The author believes that these two are not fundamentally different in their religious foundations and theological functions; i.e. divine religions are in nature, revolutionary and libertarian, and are anti-terrorism; since both religions have experienced discourses in the history of Islam and Christianity, and also resistance movements. The ideas of both religions are also opposed to extremism, and terrorism stems from political issues and has no religious or intellectual roots. مقاله حاضر تلاش می‏کند، سیر نهضت‏های انقلابی ـ اصلاحی و جنبش مقاومت در تاریخ اسلام و مسیحیت را بررسی کرده و زمینه‏های افراط‏گرایی و تروریسم در دین اسلام و الهیات مسیحی را تبیین کند. نهضت‏های انقلابی و موضوع مقاومت در دو دین، دارای اهمیت هستند؛ همچنین بسترهای افراط‏گرایی و تروریسم در متون دینی اسلام و الهیات مسیحی، از مباحث مهم و درخور توجه بوده است. پژوهش ضمن بررسی نهضت انقلابی در دین اسلام و مسیحیت، کوشش می‏کند، با خوانشی از مبانی افراط‏گرایی و تروریسم در تاریخ اسلام و الهیات مسیحی را نشان دهد. این نوشتار با روش تحلیلی ـ توصیفی درصدد پاسخ دهی به این سؤال اساسی است که ماهیت نهضت‏های انقلابی در تاریخ اسلام و تاریخ مسیحیت چگونه بوده است؟ و افراط‏گرایی و تروریسم در اسلام و الهیات مسیحی چه فرایندی داشته است؟ نگارنده بر این باور است که این دو، در مبانی دینی و کارکردهای الهیات در این دو موضوع تفاوت مبنایی ندارند؛ یعنی ادیان الهی در فطرت، انقلابی و آزادی خواه بوده و ضدتروریسم هستند؛ زیرا در هر دو دین و دال‏های گفتمانی شکل گرفته در تاریخ اسلام و مسیحیت نهضت‏های مقاومت را تجربه کرده‏اند. همچنین اندیشه هر دو دین، با افراط‏گرایی مخالف بوده و تروریسم ناشی از مسائل سیاسی بوده و ریشه دینی و اندیشه ای ندارد. https://marifat.nashriyat.ir/sites/marifat.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/3_55.pdf
