Since today's youth attendance at Friday prayer seems to be lesser than the first decade of the revolution, reconsidering the way in which religious teachings are presented in sermons is necessary. Using a descriptive-analytical method, this paper seeks to study the role of Friday prayer in moral education of society as well as the obstacles and solutions. Friday prayer are held by the Islamic ruler or his representatives based on the teachings of Qur’an and the Ahl al-Bayt (P.B.U.T.). One of its most important strategies is explaining the Islamic piety and education in the various aspects of the personal and social life of Muslims that have an effective role on the moral education of society in case the political, social and moral barriers are removed. از نوآوری های اسلام، تشریع فریضه عبادی سیاسی نماز جمعه است، تا امت اسلامی ضمن دانش افزایی هفتگی و ارتقا آگاهی دینی رخدادهای جهان اسلام را از زبان تحلیل گران مورد اطمینان بشنوند.     ازآنجاکه امروزه حضور جوانان در نماز جمعه نسبت به دهه اول انقلاب کمتر به نظر می رسد، تجدیدنظر در شیوه‌ی ارائه‌ی آموزه های دینی در حوزه‌ی کاری خطیبان، گامی به سوی نوآوری و تأثیرگذاری بیشتر است. هدف از این پژوهش شناخت نقش نهاد نماز جمعه و چگونگی تأثیرگذاری و بررسی موانع و ارائه‌ی راه کارهایی در این باره است. براین اساس با روش توصیفی ـ تحلیلی به بررسی نقش نهاد نماز جمعه در تربیت اخلاقی جامعه خواهیم پرداخت.     نماز جمعه از سوی حاکم اسلامی یا نمایندگان او برگزار می شود. نهاد نماز جمعه یک نهاد خاص اجتماعی است، که خط مشی آن برگرفته از قرآن و سیره عملی اهل بیت علیهم السلام است و از مهم ترین راهبردهای آن، تبیین تقوا و تربیت اسلامی در شئون مختلف زندگی فردی و اجتماعی مسلمین است، که درصورت رفع موانع سیاسی، اجتماعی و اخلاقی نقش مؤثرتری در تربیت اخلاقی جامعه خواهند داشت. https://marifat.nashriyat.ir/sites/marifat.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/8_85.pdf
