Various arguments and explanations have been presented by theologians to prove the principles and the quality of the Resurrection, corporeal resurrection, ideal body, celestial body as well as the rejection of reincarnation. Since the arguments of theologian are more narrative, they cannot answer some doubts. Aside from the fact that some of these arguments are weak and unconvincing. Using a descriptive-analytical method, this paper seeks to study the theological consequences of the theory of substantial motion in the discussion of the Resurrection from the viewpoint of al-Shirazi. The findings show that rational arguments of al-Shirazi, based on the foundations of Transcendent Wisdom, are free from the problems of the arguments of theologian. حرکت جوهری ازجمله ابداعات مهم و تأثیرگذار صدرالمتألهین است که دارای ثمرات فراوانی در مسائل فلسفی و کلامی و از جمله مسئله معاد است. استدلال ها و تبیین های مختلفی در مورد اثبات اصل معاد، اثبات معاد جسمانی، کیفیت بدن برزخی و اخروی و نیز ابطال تناسخ از سوی متکلمان ارائه شده است. استدلال های متکلمان بیشتر براساس مشهورات بوده و بر ادلۀ نقلی استوار است؛ لذا نمی تواند پاسخگوی برخی شبهات باشد. برخی از این استدلال ها نیز با اشکالاتی روبه روست و از اتقان کافی برخوردار نیست. این نوشتار با استفاده از روش توصیفی ـ تحلیلی درصدد است تا ضمن اشاره به این دسته از تبیین ها، راه کارهای صدرالمتألهین را براساس حرکت جوهری مورد واکاوی قرار دهد و نشان دهد که تبیین های عقلی صدرالمتألهین که مبتنی بر مبانی حکمت متعالیه است، اشکالات موجود در نظریات متکلمان را ندارد.
