Considering the importance of diplomacy, securing national interests and establishing security along with Islamic and revolutionary interests, the question that arises is about the approach that is on the agenda of the foreign policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran with emphasis on the view of the supreme leader. The research method is descriptive-analytical. The main goal of this research is to present a comprehensive and complete view of diplomacy in the foreign policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, taking into account the two important schools of idealism and realism. The important findings of this article show that, based on the examination of other characteristics of schools of idealism and realism, the foreign policy and diplomacy of the Islamic Republic of Iran is not completely compatible with the mentioned schools. Therefore, explaining the foreign policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran requires a unique model which we try to achieve through realistic and revolutionary idealism. دو مکتب آرمان گرایی و واقع گرایی از مکاتب معروف روابط بین الملل و عرصه‌ی دیپلماسی هستند. با توجه به اهمیت دیپلماسی و تأمین منافع و امنیت ملی در کنار مصالح اسلامی و انقلابی، این سؤال مطرح می شود که چه رویکردی در دستور کار سیاست خارجی جمهوری اسلامی ایران با تأکید بر دیدگاه مقام معظم رهبری قرار دارد؟ روش پژوهش استفاده از روش توصیفی ـ تحلیلی است. هدف اصلی این پژوهش ارائه نگاه جامع و کامل نسبت به دیپلماسی در سیاست خارجی جمهوری اسلامی ایران، با توجه به دو مکتب مهم آرمان گرایی و واقع گرایی است. نوآوری و یافته‌ی مهم این مقاله این است که بررسی سایر ویژگی های مکاتب آرمان گرایی و واقع گرایی، حاکی از عدم انطباق کامل سیاست خارجی و دیپلماسی جمهوری اسلامی ایران با مکاتب مزبور است؛ لذا تبیین سیاست خارجی جمهوری اسلامی ایران، الگویی منحصربه فرد را می طلبد. ازاین رو، با طرح آرمان گرایی واقع بینانه و انقلابی سعی در شناخت آن داریم. https://marifat.nashriyat.ir/sites/marifat.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/6_90.pdf
