Paul is an influential figure in Christianity. The Islamic and Christian sources provide us with many signs, with some weaknesses and strengths and some differences and similarities, for 
knowing him. Using the descriptive-analytical method, this research offers a historical and textual analysis of the existing signs, especially those in the Holy Qur’an, and tries to examine the extent of the comparability of the sings and their reliability in introducing and describing Paul. The aim of the research is to reach a comparative and reliable explanation with common accounts of the personality and performance of Paul, which represents an obscure part of history and is effective in guiding the attitude of Christians towards true Christianity and Islam. As a result, with the centrality of the signs in the Holy Qur’an, the weak documentation of some narrations and the lack of credibility of some signs in the text of the New Testament can be ignored and they can be accepted as valid. Finally, a common definition of Paul, who converted to Christianity with a deceptive faith and the intention of creating deviation, has been presented based on Islamic and Christian sources.},

abstract_fa ={«پولس» شخصیتی اثرگذار در مسیحیت است و در منابع اسلامی و مسیحی نشانه های متعددی، با ضعف و قوت های موجود و برخی اختلافات و هماهنگی ها، برای شناخت وی در دسترس است. این پژوهش با روش توصیفی ـ تحلیلی در تحلیل تاریخی و متنی نشانه های موجود، با محوریت نشانه های موجود در قرآن کریم، می کوشد میزان تطبیق پذیری آنها بر همدیگر را بررسی کرده و دریابد از این رهگذر تا چه میزان این نشانه ها قابلیت تطبیق داشته و شناختی قابل اعتماد از پولس به دست می دهد. هدف پژوهش، دستیابی به تبیینی تطبیقی و استوار و دارای بن مایه های مشترک در ابعاد شخصیتی و عملکردی پولس می باشد، که بیانگر بخش مبهمی از تاریخ و مؤثر در جهت دهی به نگرش مسیحیان به مسیحیت حقیقی و اسلام است؛ در نتیجه با محوریت نشانه های موجود در قرآن کریم، ضعف سندی برخی روایات و کم اعتباری برخی نشانه های متن عهد جدید قابل اغماض بوده و آنها را در حد مؤید می توان پذیرفت. در نهایت تعریفی مشترک از نگاه منابع اسلامی و مسیحی از پولس، که با ایمانی فریب کارانه و انگیزه و عملکرد ایجاد انحراف به مسیحیت گرویده بود، ارائه شده است.},
