According to the Qur'an, one of the factors of achieving happiness is repentance. Using thematic interpretation, the purpose of this research is to examine the effects of repentance in human perfection in terms of vision, tendency and behavior as mentioned in the Quran. The results show that, in terms of vision, repentance causes insight into the path of guidance, the vices and consequences of sin, and the goodness and beauty of obedience. Also, repentance leads to a deeper understanding of God's acceptance of repentance, His mercy and granting, as well as the intercession of His saints. The increase of love towards God, adjustment of instincts, reduction of inclination to sin, strengthening of hope for success, salvation from sorrow and calamity are among the effects of repentance in terms of tendency. Acknowledging the truth and surrendering to it, clarifying the facts, standing up against tyrants and oppressors, performing prayers, paying zakat, purifying the soul, observing fairness, and being grateful for God's blessings are among the behavioral perfections of repentance. از مهم ترین عوامل کمال انسان در قرآن، توبه است؛ این پژوهش می کوشد نقش توبه را در کمال انسان به لحاظ بینشی، گرایشی و رفتاری به روش تفسیر موضوعی واکاوی کند؛ حاصل بررسی اینکه توبه از بعد بینشی موجب افزایش بصیرت انسان نسبت به زشتی و نافرجامی گناه و متقابلاً زیبابی و خوش فرجامی طاعت می شود؛ همچنین قرار گرفتن در مسیر توبه موجب درک عمیق تر برخی اوصاف و افعال خداوند مانند توابیت، رحمت و شفاعت می شود؛ توبه از بُعد گرایشی موجب فزونی محبت الهی، تعدیل غرائز حیوانی، کاهش میل به گناه، تقویت امید به فلاح، نجات از اندوه و بلا می گردد؛ تسلیم شدن در برابر حق و حقیقت و تلاش در جهت تبیین آن برای دیگران، استقامت در برابر گردن کشان و ستمکاران، برپایی نماز، پرداخت زکات، تلاش در جهت پالایش روح، رعایت انصاف، شکر نعم الهی، از کمالات رفتاری توبه اند. https://marifat.nashriyat.ir/sites/marifat.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/4_92.pdf
