Family is the most important and influential social institution that plays an essential role in the education of noble people and in the foundation of a healthy society. Divine religions and scholars have put forward solutions with various sociological, psychological and religious approaches to protect this valuable social institution and its strength. Using descriptive-analytical method, this research examines the relationship between moral values and family strength from the Islamic perspective and with an ethical approach. The research findings indicate that observing moral values is one of the most important factors in strengthening the family. The more moral values are observed in the family, the stronger its foundations will be. In this research, the values influential in strengthening the family are divided into two verbal and non-verbal parts. In the part related to verbal values, virtues such as telling the truth, avoiding lying, thankfulness and appreciation, apologizing and accepting apology, speaking well and avoiding insults, showing affection, using good names and nicknames, avoiding humiliation and ridicule are explained; and in the second group, values such as respect, patience, modesty and chastity, forgiveness, avoiding luxury and controlling anger are discussed and their role in strengthening family is elucidated.

abstract_fa ={خانواده مهم ترین و تأثیر گذارترین نهاد اجتماعی است که در تربیت انسان های متعالی و پی ریزی جامعۀ سالم نقش اساسی دارد. ادیان الهی و صاحب نظران برای صیانت از این بنای ارزشمند اجتماعی و تحکیم آن، راه کارهایی را با رویکردهای گوناگون جامعه شناختی، روان شناختی و دینی ارائه کرده اند. این پژوهش مسئلۀ مذکور را از منظر اسلام و با رویکرد اخلاقی مورد بررسی قرار داده و رابطۀ ارزش های اخلاقی با تحکیم خانواده را با روش توصیفی ـ تحلیلی کاوش کرده است. یافته های پژوهش حاکی است؛ رعایت ارزش های اخلاقی، از مهم ترین عوامل تحکیم خانواده است. هرچه ارزش های اخلاقی بیشتر در خانواده رعایت شود پایه های آن مستحکم تر خواهد شد. در این تحقیق ارزش های تأثیرگذار در تحکیم خانواده، به دو بخش ارزش های کلامی و غیرکلامی تقسیم شده است. در بخش نخست، فضایلی همانند راست گویی، پرهیز از دروغ، سپاس گزاری و قدردانی، عذرخواهی و عذرپذیری، نیکو سخن گفتن و پرهیز از توهین، ابراز محبت، به کارگیری اسامی و القاب نیکو، پرهیز از تحقیر و تمسخر؛ و در بخش دوم، تکریم، صبر، حیاء و عفت، عفو و گذشت، پرهیز از تجمل گرایی و کنترل خشم مورد بحث قرار گرفته اند و نقش آنها در تحکیم خانواده تبیین شده است.},
