Given the intellectual foundations and different viewpoints, culture has been given different meanings. Since culture is one of the important pillars of social system, it is necessary to know its position in different areas of society. Using descriptive-analytical method and drawing on library sources, this paper investigates the meaning of culture from the perspective of the Holy Qur'an and its status in the social system. It aims to explain the Qur’anic general plan regarding meeting the man’ social needs for his/her happiness in this world and in the hereafter. The result shows that, first, from the Qur'anic perspective, culture means purification and gaining morality as mentioned in the Qur'an; and secondly, this Qur'anic concept of culture forms the basis of various areas of social life. In the end, it has been stated that the implementation of moral behavior requires a support and a complement, i.e. monotheistic knowledge, and belief in monotheism is considered a guarantee for the implementation of moral action. مقوله فرهنگ و مفهوم آن، جایگاه مهمی در میان علوم انسانی دارد. با توجه به مبانی فکری و دیدگاه های مختلف، معانی مختلفی از فرهنگ ارائه شده است. ازآنجاکه فرهنگ یکی از ارکان مهم نظام اجتماعی است، شناخت جایگاه آن در میان حوزه های مختلف اجتماع امری ضروری است. این تحقیق با روش توصیفی ـ تحلیلی و با استفاده از منابع کتابخانه ای معنای فرهنگ را از منظر قرآن کریم و جایگاه آن را در نظام اجتماعی مورد بررسی قرار داده است. هدف از این بررسی بیان برنامه کلی قرآن کریم درجهت رفع نیازهای اجتماعی بشر برای سعادت دنیوی و اخروی انسان است. این تحقیق نشان می دهد اولاً از منظر قرآنی، فرهنگ همان تزکیه و تخلق به اخلاق فاضله ای است که در قرآن ذکر شده است؛ و ثانیاً این مفهوم قرآنی از فرهنگ، پایه و اساس حوزه ها و ساحت های مختلف زندگی اجتماعی را تشکیل می دهد. در پایان بیان شده است که عملی شدن رفتار اخلاقی نیاز به پشتوانه و تکمیل کننده ای دارد، که همان معرفت توحیدی است و اعتقاد به توحید، ضامن اجرایی شدن فعل اخلاقی محسوب می شود. https://marifat.nashriyat.ir/sites/marifat.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/3_98.pdf
