The research data were analyzed using thematic analysis and text analysis techniques. The research tool was the use of forms and questionnaires. The research findings in the analysis of educational elements showed that in this model, the teacher plays the role of motivator, mediator and supporter of learning opportunities, and the student has the role of evaluator, questioner and reasoner. The curriculum is flexible and non-prescriptive and provides the conditions for creating creative arts and self-exploration in the student. Also, knowledge in teaching models based on the meaning of life is relative-subjective, part objective. The type of knowledge is sensory and rational knowledge and partly intuitive knowledge. The general results indicated that the philosophical schools that support the mentioned models are the school of idealism, pragmatism, existentialism and the philosophical movement of postmodernism. پژوهش حاضر باهدف کشف مبانی معرفت‌شناختی الگوهای تدریس مبتنی بر معنای زندگی با روش پژوهش کیفی از نوع توصیفی- تحلیلی با رویکرد واکاوی اسناد صورت گرفت. داده‌های پژوهش با استفاده از روش تحلیل مضمون و تکنیک تحلیل متن تجزیه‌وتحلیل شد. ابزار پژوهش استفاده از فرم و فیش‌برداری بود. یافته‌های پژوهش درتحلیل عناصر آموزشی نشان داد معلم در این الگو نقش برانگیزاننده، میانجی و پشتیبان فرصت‌های یادگیری راایفا کرده و شاگرد نقش خود ارزیاب، پرسشگر و استدلال کننده را داراست. برنامه درسی هم انعطاف‌پذیر و غیر تجویزی بوده و شرایط ایجاد هنرهای خلاقانه و خودکاوی را در شاگرد فراهم می‌کند. همچنین معرفت در الگوهای تدریس مبتنی بر معنای زندگی به‌صورت نسبی - ذهنی، بخشی هم عینی می‌باشد. نوع معرفت به‌صورت معرفت حسی و عقلانی و بخشی هم معرفت شهودی است. نتایج کلی حاکی از آن بود که مکاتب فلسفی پشتیبان کننده الگوهای مذکور مکتب ایدآلیسم، پراگماتیسم، اگزیستانسیالیسم و جنبش فلسفی پست‌ مدرنیسم می‌باشد.
