Given the strength of religious values, scientific research in this field is very important. The research method is descriptive survey type and the population includes families with and without sister students in Gorgan city, 200 of whom were determined using the Cochran formula and selected as a sample using the proportional stratified random sampling method and studied. The data collection tool is a researcher-made questionnaire whose validity was confirmed using face content validity with the opinion of experts and its reliability using Cronbach's alpha coefficient (0.883). The results of the study showed that the level of religious performance of families with sister students is significantly higher than that of families without sister students. The results also indicate that there is a significant relationship between social trust, social participation, cognitive evaluation and family religious performance. The results of controlling variables showed that the presence of a sister student in the family has an effect on the relationship between social trust and family religious practice, while it has no effect on social participation and cognitive evaluation. پژوهش حاضر با هدف شناخت عوامل اجتماعی مؤثر بر نقش طلاب خواهر در عملکرد دینی خانواده انجام شد. با نظر به استحکام ارزشهای دینی در خانواده، پژوهش علمی در این زمینه بسیار مهم است. روش تحقیق، توصیفی از نوع پیمایشی بوده و جامعه آماری شامل خانواده های واجد و فاقد طلبه خواهر در شهر گرگان می باشند که 200 نفر از آنان با استفاده از فرمول کوکران تعیین و به عنوان نمونه آماری با استفاده از روش نمونه گیری تصادفی طبقه ای متناسب، انتخاب و مورد مطالعه قرار گرفتند. ابزار جمع آوری داده ها، پرسشنامه محقق ساخته بود که اعتبار آن با استفاده از اعتبار محتوایی با نظر متخصصان و پایایی آن با استفاده از ضریب آلفای کرونباخ (883/0) مورد تأیید قرار گرفت. نتایج تحقیق نشان داد که میزان عملکرد دینی خانواده های واجد طلبه خواهر به طور معنا داری، بیشتر از خانواده های فاقد طلبه خواهر می باشد. همچنین بین اعتماد اجتماعی، مشارکت اجتماعی، ارزیابی شناختی و عملکرد دینی خانواده رابطه معنادار وجود دارد. نتیجه کنترل متغیرها نشان داد که وجود طلبه خواهر در خانواده در رابطه بین اعتماد اجتماعی با عملکرد دینی خانوده، تأثیرگذار است در حالیکه در مشارکت اجتماعی و ارزیابی شناختی اثری ندارد.
