Individuals, groups, and adherents of various schools of thought and religions differ in setting goals and the paths to achieve them. This paper seeks to better elucidate the Islamic perspective in this regard. The goal of Islam regarding social life and the management of society is to provide conditions for the majority of people to attain the highest life benefits, both in this world and the hereafter. The fundamental distinction between Islam and other schools lies in the fact that Islam’s objectives are not limited to just this world, i.e., social life must also be organized to facilitate spiritual growth and, consequently, lead to man’s eternal happiness. In other words, there is a relation between politics and ethics. This article expounds on the relation between politics and ethics, the elements of politics, the characteristics of the chief legislator, and the hierarchy of legislation. بر اساس آنچه گذشت، رفتار‏های ارزشی درصورتی‏که به قصد تأمین هدف‏ها و مصالح اجتماعی انجام شود، مصداق رفتار سیاسی خواهد بود. افراد، گروه‏ها و اصحاب مکاتب و مذاهب مختلف در تعیین هدف و راهی که به هدف منتهی می‏شود، اختلافاتی دارند. در این گفتار در صدد شناخت بهتر دیدگاه اسلام در این زمینه هستیم. هدف اسلام از زندگی اجتماعی و مدیریت جامعه، فراهم کردن زمینه‏ برای اینکه بیشترین افراد بتوانند به بیشترین مصالح زندگی‏، اعم از دنیوی و اخروی، برسند. نقطه اختلاف اساسی اسلام با سایر مکاتب، این است که هدف در اسلام، منحصر به هدف دنیوی نیست و زندگی اجتماعی نیز باید به‏گونه‏ای شکل داده شود که زمینة رشد معنوی، و درنتیجه، دستیابی به سعادت ابدی را برای انسان فراهم کند. به این معنا، بین سیاست و اخلاق ارتباط وجود دارد. این مقاله به تفصیل به بررسی پیوند اخلاق و سیاست، عناصر سیاست، ویژگی‏های قانونگذار اصلی و ‏مراتب قانونگذاری می‌پردازد. https://marifat.nashriyat.ir/sites/marifat.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/5002157-1752906325.pdf
