Most of the interpretations realized the purpose of these invitations as thinking in the greatness of the starry sky and concluding the power of Allah. Analyzing the semantic network between seeing "what is before them and behind them”, "the sky and the earth" and "Khasf ( swallowing up)and Ghazf (falling upon) " in this verse, based on the structuring and semantic coherence of the verses of the Qur'an, is the main question of this research. This research is also going to show the possibility of the connection between "existing items in the sky" and "the future" from the perspective of the Qur'an. In this research, while studing and criticizing the interpretive views, examining the background of Islamic Astrology and astronomical rulings in Imamiyyah traditions and jurisprudence; a new meaning is given for the verse. This verse indicates that by studying some celestial subjects, it’s possible to predict the apocalyptic torments and to plan and prepare for its occurrence. Based on this, the Qur'an not only has confirmed the possibility of studying the future and the past of humanity through the sky and the earth, but it also invites everyone, even the unbelievers, to this issue. آیه‌ی ۹ سوره‌ی سبأ از جمله‌ی آیاتی است که خداوند در آن به رؤیت آسمان امر فرموده است. عموم تفاسیر هدف از این دعوت‌ها را تفکر در عظمت آسمان ستارگان و نتیجه گرفتن قدرت خداوند بیان کرده‌اند. واکاوی شبکه‌ی معنایی میان «رؤیت ما بَیْنَ أَیْدیهِمْ وَ ما خَلْفَهُمْ»، «السَّماءِ وَ الْأَرْضِ» و «خسف و قذف» در این آیه، بر مبنای ساختارمندی و انسجام معنایی آیات قرآن، مسأله‌ی اصلی این پژوهش است؛ تا از این مدخل، امکان ارتباط میان «مقولات موجود در آسمان» با «آینده» را از نگاه قرآن بسنجد. در این تحقیق ضمن بررسی و نقد دیدگاه‌های تفسیری، بررسی پیشینه‌ی نجوم احکامی در روایات و فقه امامیه؛ معنای جدیدی برای آیه ارائه شده است. بر این اساس نه تنها قرآن امکان مطالعه‌ی آینده و گذشته بشریت، از طریق آسمان و زمین را تأیید کرده است، بلکه همگان، حتی کافران را به این موضوع دعوت می‌کند. این آیه دلالت می‌کند بر اینکه با مطالعه‌ی برخی موضوعات آسمانی، می‌توان مقولاتی کلان مانند عذاب‌های آخرالزمانی را نتیجه گرفت و در راستای آمادگی برای آن برنامه‌ریزی و تلاش کرد.
