Abstract
In every science, there are principles and preliminaries that must be paid attention to. To avoid mistakes, an accurate understanding of words and definitions is essential in all areas of science. The science of ethics has various applications. In common conversations, ethics sometimes means the quality of dealing with others. The word "khosh-Akhlaq” (good-tempered), for example, is a word related to this meaning. However, sometimes the science of ethics talks about emotional properties, not actions and behaviors. Akhlaq-e- fazele (virtuous qualities) is used in this sense as opposed to akhlaq-e- dhamime (bad qualities). Sometimes "morally good" is used in contrast to "jurisprudential obligation". This meaning of ethics is in contrast to obligatory acts; i.e. a morally good thing is not obligatory. For a precise definition of ethics, one should pay attention to the categories of science. Real sciences are divided into theoretical and practical. Theoretical sciences are those whose result is the discovery of the unknown for humans. Practical sciences determine the direction of human behavior. Therefore, ethics is everything that is involved in reaching perfection and closeness to God, based on human intention. In this definition, in addition to sensual dispositions, philosophical meanings are also considered.
