Abstract
Latin America is the most populated Christian region in the world. Social life in Latin America had thousands of years of history before the arrival of Christianity. Great civilizations such as Almaks and Istaks were formed in these areas before Christ. Christianity entered Latin America in the 15th century with the arrival of the conquerors. Catholic Christianity has gone through different periods (introduction and Christianization, consolidation and weakening) since the beginning of its arrival until today. The present research deals with the arrival of Catholic Christianity in Latin America. The destruction of the Indian civilization by the conquerors, the widespread propagation of the missionaries and the matching of Christian beliefs with the indigenous and Indian beliefs are three important factors in their Christianization. The data for this descriptive-analytical study has been collected through the library method and using written documents.

Title :بررسی تحلیلی آغاز ورود مسیحیت کاتولیک در آمریکای لاتین (۱۴۹۲-۱۵۵۱م)
Abstract:
آمریکای لاتین پرجمعیت ترین منطقۀ مسیحی نشین دنیاست. حیات اجتماعی در آمریکای لاتین قبل از ورود مسیحت، هزاران سال سابقه تاریخی داشته است. تمدن های بزرگی مانند المک ها و ایستک ها قبل از میلاد مسیح در این مناطق شکل گرفته اند. مسیحیت در قرن ۱۵ با ورود فاتحان، وارد منطقه آمریکای لاتین شد. مسیحیت کاتولیک از آغاز ورود تا به امروز، دوره های مختلف (ورود و مسیحی سازی، تثبیت و تضعیف) را پشت سر گذاشته است. ما در این تحقیق به مسئلۀ آغاز ورود مسیحیت کاتولیک در آمریکای لاتین می پردازیم. از بین رفتن تمدن سرخ پوستی توسط فاتحان، تبلیغ گسترده مبلغان و تطبیق دادن اعتقادات مسیحی با باورهای بومی و سرخ پوستی سه عامل مهم در مسیحی سازی آنها می توان برشمرد. روش گردآوری اطلاعات در این تحقیق، کتابخانه ای و با استفاده از اسناد نوشتاری انجام شده است و روش داده پردازی اطاعات توصیفی ـ تحلیلی است.
