The present study was conducted with the aim of identifying the social factors affecting the role of sister students in the religious performance of the family. Given the strength of religious values, scientific research in this field is very important. The research method is descriptive survey type and the population includes families with and without sister students in Gorgan city, 200 of whom were determined using the Cochran formula and selected as a sample using the proportional stratified random sampling method and studied. The data collection tool is a researcher-made questionnaire whose validity was confirmed using face content validity with the opinion of experts and its reliability using Cronbach's alpha coefficient (0.883). The results of the study showed that the level of religious performance of families with sister students is significantly higher than that of families without sister students. The results also indicate that there is a significant relationship between social trust, social participation, cognitive evaluation and family religious performance. The results of controlling variables showed that the presence of a sister student in the family has an effect on the relationship between social trust and family religious practice, while it has no effect on social participation and cognitive evaluation.
