In the last few decades, scientists have made a lot of efforts to determine the components of wisdom. Religiosity has been considered as one of the components of wisdom, but other researches have not deeply and comprehensively explained the role of religiosity in wisdom; Therefore, the purpose of this research is to explain the role of religiosity in wisdom. The statistical population of this research includes all the works of Allameh Tabataba'i and its sample is Tafsir al-Mizan. In order to explain the components of religiosity that are effective in wisdom, the method of qualitative content analysis has been used. The findings show that the components of religiosity that are effective in wisdom include "scientific religiosity", "pragmatic religiosity", "acquiring divine and human virtues and ethics", "divine sage", "servitude to God", "mystical relationship with God", "believing in the prophecy of divine prophets and following them" and "building worldly and afterlife life". The results show that religiosity helps to change in the rational dimension through the change in the cognition and emotion of the person, and the change in the rational dimension means the growth of wisdom. From a point of view, any type of religiosity is not related to wisdom, but a properly formed religiosity can help to grow wisdom.
