Re'jat, the belief in the return of a select group of individuals to the world after death and prior to the Day of Judgment, is a core tenet of Shia Islam, profoundly linked to Mahdism and eschatological events. This research offers a comparative analysis of Re'jat from both Shia and Sunni perspectives, examining the theological and practical implications of this belief. Employing a qualitative, fundamental research methodology, data was systematically gathered from authoritative Shia sources (the Quran and Hadith) and relevant Sunni texts. This information was then rigorously analyzed using a descriptive-analytical approach. Findings indicate that in Shia thought, Re'jat is a foundational belief, strongly supported by Qur'anic and narrative evidence, which significantly enhances hope and motivation among adherents. In contrast, Sunni Islam generally rejects this concept. The study concludes that, based on compelling Qur'anic and narrative proofs, the belief in Re'jat is logical and valid, and its repudiation by Sunni Islam lacks a sound basis. Beyond being a theological principle, Re'jat in Shia Islam serves as a crucial impetus for optimism in both individual and communal life.
