Abstract:
The existential essence of human beings and the diversity of their needs render relations as one of the inevitable necessities of life. In the meantime, intimacy, which is one of the factors that can have a significant impact on the process of formation, strength and constancy of relations, has been the special concern of Islam. A descriptive-analytical method is used in this study which aims to explain the signs of intimacy and its effects on social relations according to Quranic verses and narrations. Content analysis of Quranic verses and narrations is used to demonstrate and clarify the ideas presented in this study. The research findings show that intimacy has specific instances, rules and boundaries, and in order to find how it is effective, it is necessary to adhere to each of these three. In addition, the power of the influence of intimacy is not influenced only by the above factors, but there is a reciprocal relationship intimacy and godliness. The results show that real intimate relation cannot be achieved without regarding attitude and spirituality. Godliness and religiosity contribute to the formation of intimate relations. Islam paves the way for further development of intimacy in human relations through practical measures and positive and exhorting laws.
