Abstract:
This study, titled “Methods of Moral Education from the Perspective of Allameh Mesbah Yazdi (RA),” aims to identify and analyze methods of moral education from his viewpoint. The research employs a descriptive-analytical approach, using data collected from library sources. The main objective is to describe moral education methods and analyze Allameh Mesbah Yazdi’s perspective on them. Findings indicate that the most important methods include self-awareness, motivation, teaching moral virtues and vices, combating base desires, practice and repetition, role modeling, and remembrance of God. Role modeling has a significant impact, as the learner consciously and voluntarily seeks to manage life according to the chosen model. Choosing friends is also highly influential, as friends affect behavior and moral development and serve as confidants. Additionally, attention to individual differences and the use of encouragement and discipline are important; encouragement takes precedence over punishment because intrinsic motivation is more effective and lasting than external compulsion. These methods provide a practical framework for moral education and demonstrate that effective training combines instruction, practical exercises, motivation, and role modeling.
