Abstract:
Religious propagation is a systematic process based on conveying the divine message in an enlightening manner. It is realized through establishing effective communication and encouraging the audience to accept purposeful content. This process follows organized principles and regulations, and achieving efficient propagation requires coordination and precision across all influencing factors, including the competence of the preacher, the quality of the content, the method of presentation, and other related variables.
Among the pillars of propagation, the content presented holds an unparalleled position, for the effectiveness of the message largely depends on the adequacy and relevance of the content conveyed by the preacher. The central question of this study is which components are essential for aligning propagational content with the characteristics of the audience.
Drawing on Qur’anic verses, narrations, and the views of Islamic scholars, and using a descriptive-analytical method, this study identifies and explains the requirements for producing missionary content. The findings indicate that audience characteristics play a decisive role in designing and presenting such content. Among these criteria are the age of the audience (child, adolescent, youth, or adult), gender (male or female), and their level of intellectual capacity and cognitive ability. These factors are crucial in selecting the appropriate type and quality of content, and neglecting them can weaken the impact of the propagational message.
