Abstract:
the aim of this paper is to investigate the neurological and philosophical aspects of free will with an emphasis on ayatollah mesbah yazdi 's philosophical views . the research has been done by descriptive - analytical method and library resources . in the beginning , the concept of free will and its autonomous meaning , which is the main axis of the paper , is explained . then , benjamin لیبت and john dylan thomas tests were introduced and analyzed . the results of these experiments show that the brain activities related to decision - making are initiated prior to the individual 's awareness , but in the critique section , by using ontological , epistemological and epistemological considerations .
